Dortmund IKP brokers property in the Kreuzviertel district of the Dortmund city centre to TERRAGON AG
Following intensive negotiations, IKP Immobiliengruppe has brokered a property of about 5,500 m² in the Dortmund city centre to TERRAGON AG, a project developer specialising in senior residences that has been operating on the market for more than 20 years.
Over the next three years, plans currently foresee the construction of 170 assisted living units on this plot; the high-quality and individual appointments of the units will be supplemented by a diversified range of services based on residents’ needs.
Kreso Jerkic, Head of Residential Investment of the IKP Group, explained: “A search for comparable facilities enabling senior citizens to lead as independent and personal a life as possible while at the same time meeting the growing need for support in the form of specific services would at this time be unsuccessful everywhere in the entire Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region. We are proud to have been a part of this transaction over the past two years and to have now brought it to a successful conclusion!”
The seller of the land, currently still the site of a building, is Albert Sevinc Planen+Bauen GmbH, a Düsseldorf-based project developer. The planning architect was Mirko Radke.
