Lars Kuchenbuch began working in the real estate sector in 1993 and in 1998 founded IKP Immobilienberatungsgesellschaft mbH, the cornerstone of today’s IKP Immobiliengruppe and its offices in Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Berlin.

Initially, the focus was on the letting of retail properties, expansion support and the design, optimisation and structuring of retail space. IKP Immobilieninvestmentgesellschaft mbH, which handles sales of retail properties and supports investors, project developers and owners in the purchase and sale of real estate, was founded in 2007.

A branch office was opened in Hamburg in 2012 with the intent of facilitating the development of the North German market. Owing to the importance of the site and the demand in Berlin, another branch office was opened in the capital in 2019.

Today, IKP Immobiliengruppe also manages the asset classes residential, office and hospitality.
